Odd new fees arriving on monthly bill

Anybody know what these new fees are about and why I should suddenly start getting them with no change in service.  The last 2 are explained but I can't find any explanation for Franchise related costs.

Franchise Related Costs                           1.80

Regional Sports Network Fee                    2.42

FDV Administrative Charge                         .99

The there is this one that I have been receiving for months but again there absolutely no explanation of what it is I am paying for

Verizon Property Tax Recovery Charge    2.29

The only one I dont see on there is the property tax which "are fees that are intended to help defray the cost of a new local property tax that local cities and towns now levy on Verizon’s telephone poles and wires located on public property."

So in other words you are helping them pay their taxes for their poles.

Just another reason why I wont have home phone service. They want to nickel and dime you for everything. Cell phone compaines already do it as it is.

You never have to change a thing with service. They just simply start passing surcharges on to customers when they want to for whatever reason. Thats one downfall even by signing a contract.......surcharges can be added at anytime. Usually they notify of new charges before they kick in, but I have seen them add fees in the past without any prior notice.

I know MA aka taxachusetts (I'm from there) did start charging a property tax on their poles so Verizon is now saying you have to help pay it to keep costs down elsewhere.

When I saw this '"property tax recovery" charge on my bill, I remembered that all the legislators in Newton voted to tax the telephone poles.
