Outage in the Bronx

Anyone hear of anything? My service has been down since yesterday morning. When I called cust service, lucky me got outsource india. At 1st she says that there are no reported service outages in my area (Morris Heights). Then after wasting my time with her useless trouble shooting, she says she's going to speak to a supervisor. She then tells me that now there's an outage in my area. I feel like I'm being given the run around.
