Right on that page

"The Revision F version of the Wireless Broadband Router for Verizon FiOS, has been updated to include Wireless N and support for the MoCA 1.1 standard."

The revision G and the new revision I are also Wireless N and have gigabit ports.

So does anyone have any idea what they're talking about? Like why you would need/want an 802.11n router?

Pretty clear here:

1. My Actiontec from Vz is a g router.

2. Ethernet speeds are what I pay for, 50 Mbps Down / 20 Mbps Up

3. Wireless speeds are 20-25 down. Not good enough.

I'm not paying for 50 Mbps to get 25 tops on wireless devices. Verizon needs to address this without me buying an Airport Express to fix the issue.

Faster wireless speeds.

VZ makes no guarantee of wireless speeds.

VZ makes no guarantee of wireless speeds.

First of all, that is not helpful, AT ALL.  Second, if you can get a certain speed with a wired connection, you should be able to get that exact same speed from a wireless connection coming from the same unit.

I'm simply telling you VZ's policy.  You may feel enittled to VZ's latest router, but there is nothing in their terms of services that says anything about them upgrading purchased equipment.  Yes, you purchased the router, even if it was "free".

Does Verizon make this router available to existing FiOS customers with a 25/25 triple play package:

If so, what does the customer have to do to get this improved, gigabit router?
