PS4 SPEED

I recently purchased a PS4 so that when my grandchildren come over they will have one here instead of bringing theirs from home.

I will get right to it, I have tried numerous times (20)to get the download speed to be greater than 2.3 MPS with no luck. The speed from FIOS is 100 MBS, the PS4 is 15 feet away from the FIOS Router.

Is there something I am not doing correctly to be compatible with the FIOS Router?

Try connecting to the 5G Network. 5G wireless speeds are considerably better than 2.4 GHz. 

Go back to your network settings and connect to the SSID that say Fios-XXXXX-5G. Alternatively you can also hard wire it.
