Parental Controls on ActionTec Router

I established a pair of rules fr parental controls recently and they do not appear to have gone into effect.  Does the router need to be re-started for rules to become effective?

They should be applied on the spot when you set them up, but it never hurts to give a Reboot a shot to see if they do take effect. If they don't, tell us what rules you set up so we can see what might be the problem.

Keep in mind that parental controls on the ActionTEC router is done in software.  What this means is when active your internet speed will be cut in half.
