Periodic Internet Dropping with DSL


I am a customer in the Baltimore area.  For about a month the internet light on my modem goes out periodically and I cannot connect to the internet.  I have had two different technicians come out who both confirmed there was a problem on the network, but they could not fix it.  I've even spoken to a supervisor who assured me the right team would get it fixed, but still no luck.  I've called Verizon support 4 or 5 times and they tell me they see a problem and it will be fixed in 24 to 48 hours, but I think that is just a standard answer.  I've seen many posts with similar issue on the forum.  Has anyone had any luck with a solution?  Appreciate any help.
