I spoke to a Verizon rep yesterday who said that she was authorized by her supervisor to remove the router fee on my account. Today, the router fee is still showing on my Verizon's account online. Please remove the router fee on my account.

You have me a mite confused. Router rental fees are charged when you use the verizon fios routers (Quantum Gateway Router G1100) no matter if it was not explained to you on sign up or not. However if you are using your own store bought router or you purchased the verizon router outright, there are no $12 a month rental fees.
you have to give more details.
