Possible to prevent additional devices to connect to wifi?

Is it possible to add another level of security or oversight when a new device connects to my Fios router? Meaning, if I connect a new tablet to my Fios router, is it possible maybe using the Fios app to ask permission for that new device to be connected or blocked?

I always get the "new-host-xx device found on your network" message from the fios app and I can choose to allow or block that device.

I basically want to have all new devices automatically blocked until I confirm what exactly the device is.

I have the same exact question.  Hopefully someone will be able to answer this, or did you ever find out the answer?
