Problems with Vonage working with Verizon DSL/Internet

I have a Westell router and can never keep vonage working for more than 2 or 3 weeks at a time. I keep calling Verizon because it is a Verizon problem. They keep transferring me around and around. I get nowhere forever. I have to call on a cell and it is not good in my area.( Also Verizon). All the lights and everything work on the router except for the internet light which is intermittent red and then nothing when this happens. HELP!!!

i have the same problem, except that my internet goes down multiple times a day.  How do i fix this?

as for the modem lights, if you have a router with your westel modem, your internet light on the modem will not light.  Only the dsl light and the data light will stay on.  This is not a problem.  If you do NOT have a router, then all three lights on the westel modem should stay on.
