My Quantum Gateway router is making a horrible high pitched noise. Does anybody know why?

Call 1-800-VERIZON and have them swap it out.
or unhook it and bring to a Fios Corporate store location. Google for one. Get another one. Get a printed receipt for the return of the defective one. Don’t take their word. Get a receipt.

I’ve been having the same issue for at least a month. Were you able to fix it? If so how? Or did Verizon give you a new router? I purchased mine from them a couple of years ago...
