I am looking at this router as a wireless access point because I heard good things about it.
I have my fios router on the 1st floor in the front of the house and my room is in the back of the house on the 2nd floor.
Can I use this router as an access point and get a good connection in my room?

The quality of the connection is going to depend on the construction of your house, the distance, and if neighbors are on the same channel, so It's impossible to predict the quality of your connection.
