Verizon repair ticket {edited for privacy}
My internet went down around 4:00PM Wednesday 5/30. After about 45 minutes of trying everything the automated system told me to do, then waiting on hold for a tech, and trying everything he told me to do, I was told the next available appointment to have someone come out was not until 8-10AM on Friday 6/1. Needless to say, I was NOT happy about being without internet for the next 40+ hours.
I was reminded of the appt via text at 4:57PM Wednesday, asked to confirm the appt via text at 12:32PM Thursday (which I did), and then again reminded of the appt at 7:18PM Thursday & 8:07AM today.
I just logged into the website to check on the status of the repair & found this:
Appointment Date: 06/01/2018
Appointment Time: 8:00 AM-10:00 AM
Estimated Arrival window: 12:00 PM-1:00 PM
You sent me FOUR reminders about the appointment, but you don't have the common courtesy to tell me that you're going to be 4-5 hours late?!
The worst part about this is that this exact same scenario happened less than 3 months ago at my last repair appointment:

The word livid does not even begin to explain how upset I am with your company right now!!!
I almost forgot to mention that this is when I saw when I logged in here:
And the only clickable links on there are the Cancel & Reschedule. I had to go to Support & then Repair Status to find out that you're once again wasting my time.
Here's an edited version of the image
Where are you located at, Greenguy?
Also, are you on DSL/Copper Wireline or FIOS?
I'm having some issues myself (far more than usual - in the past Verizon was fairly good about getting a tech out.)
I'm on FiOS in the Buffalo, NY area (which might get edited by the board ops so I'll also say I'm in the northeast part of the United States or North America or Western Hemisphere or just Earth)
I will say that the tech they sent out was awesome & had me up & running in about 30 min. He apologized a couple times for being late, even though he wasn't notified about my 8-10AM appt until 10:30.
I forgot to click the "Email me when someone replies" box on my previous post, so I clicked the gear & then selected Subscribe & got sent here:

Which is the XML file for this page 🤦🏻

In the future go here. I would call versus online complaint.
they regulate Verizon in New York
No one from Verizon has apologized.
No one from Verizon has said they'll look into this recurring problem.
No one from Verizon has contacted me privately.
No one from Verizon has EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED THIS POST!
Top notch customer service you have here!

Evidently you did not read my first reply. Read it....!
Oh, I read your post. I even went to the link you provided:
Click that link as well as the link in your post & tell me what happens. Click it...!
I did figure out that you put an extra space on the link & it's actually:
http://www.dps.ny.gov/
But seeing as you don't work for Verizon and seeing as Verizon told me this the last time this happened:
I came here.
