Replacing from GT784WNV to GT704WG

I have Actiontec GT704WG and GT784WNV.

704WG was used at home more than 2 years. I don't have DSL at home any more.

Now, I am using 784WNV at my business place.

I brought the 704WG to my business and replaced. It seems working.

Opened 192.168.1.1 page, I can see status is connected.

What I remeber is that 10 years ago, all Verizon DSL modems need to input Verizon DSL ID(not verizon account)

and password at 192.168.1.1 to access internet. But Actiontec seems like don't have this thing.

Can I keep using my old GT704WG at my business place?

Or can it be a problem?

I am planning to use 704WG and return 784WNV to Verizon. It is usless to keep it.

Is there something wrong with the GT784WNV? The gateway is a bit newer and should provide better in-network performance over the older GT704WG.
