Router Questions

Hey- 

having major interruption issues with my internet service. Need to reset the router at the minimum, twice a day. It’s my own an action tec router and Verizon will charge me for supplying their router if I choose that option. Multiple calls have been made to Verizon support and they have checked both the phone line and router connections without noting any issues with connectivity. Anyone experiencing this issue? If so, how to resolve? My next move is canceling my service and going with Comcast. This is so very frustrating!

How old a Router?  Particular which version.  The actiontec mi424wr had rev A(sometimes no revision identifier), B, C, D, E, F, G, and I.  What firmware?

For some models and firmware, there were bugs that caused resets.
