SLOW then NO Internet

Going on 3 days now without. Did speed test and was .02 to .08 down. Called in to check on upgrade and they said no problem. Next thing we knew Internet was down and we have no IP address. Now showing 6400 down at modem but no IP address. Been told they are actively working on it? Anyone know how long this could take? Wife works from home and cannot without Internet.

You may want to look into a backup plan for internet access such as using your phone as a wifi hot spot. Air cards are another alternative but can get costly very quickly. Do you have the option to go to FIOS? If you are not close to the central office, and the if the phone lines to the CO are old; troubles with DSL may be unavoidable.

Fios not an option nor is hotspot or air card. They wont work with her system.
