Searching for a new supplier : Fios Internet Services increased !!!

Hi community members,

As many of you I just found that my bill is increasing this month from $39.99 to $84.99. Sorry September bill has been generously discounted by V.  : $20 less.

That will be an increase of more than 212 %.

+212% those guys are kidding !!!

I assume you were under contract and aren't any longer?

Was the new price for a contract term or no?

If not under contract, prices will be quite higher.
And you might be able to go to another provider and get new customer rates.

But once that term expires, what will your rates be?

Some people jump back and forth between providers routinely to always chase the new customer pricing.

Not terribly difficult if internet only.

More troublesome (IMHO) if you have TV and phone as well.

Like the other poster stated just choose a new provider. Cable is running ads for great rates at $39 for internet (over 100 mb) and faster and $39 for phone and tv but phone and tv adds loads of taxes and bogus fees to your bill where internet only is zero 

cable is guaranteeing 2-3 years at that price with free modem and free WiFi
