Hi all,
I would like to setup a second fios g1100 router as an access point. I would like to use the same ssids on both routers. Have the primary provide DHCP ips but allow bot routers to provide ips. Also i would like to move from router to router connection without interruption. My network is all ethernet no coax.
All help is appreciated
Hope this helps in your situation

I would like to setup a second G1100 as a a network extender/wireless access point to allow to move seamlessly between 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals, and connect to the closest, least-congested access point to optimize your Wi-Fi connection. It would need to use the same the ssid.
