Setup charge NOT waived

The webpage showing the information for 50/50 Mbps Internet said below:

"Price includes $10/mo. savings for 2 years and the standard setup charge is waived ($99.99 value)."

But when I looked at my Estimated First Bill, it included $99.99 Fios Setup fee. How do I drop this charge from my bill?

Please help!

An estimated bill is not a final invoice. In certain cases the setup charge is shown in the plus (owed column) and the zeroed out in the credits. Result would be no charge for the install. By the way the normal install fee is $90 not $99.99 so there is something else there as well.

If Verizon charges you I would very quickly cancel service under the 30 day total satisfaction guarantee. When you call in to cancel they will ask why. Once you show you are actually leaving the credit will go on your invoice immediately. However have them send a email to you stating it is not owed and dated. Give them your email address very slowly, just in case your told later we never agreed to credit his account.

better be safe than sorry.
