I was in the process of doing a backup of data to my cloud service. Unfortunately, the transfer rate is sitting betweent 20-30Kbs or 0.03Mbs. I ran the speed test and it shows generally what I would expect 2/.7 Mbs. This is a direct line connection (was seeing the same speed on wireless). I also took down every system that could possibly be using our router, restarted the router and modem and still no improvement on the upload speed.
Are speeds any better past midnight and up to noon or are they always that poor? Does your cloud backup provider have any known throttling being used?
