I have Verizon's high speed internet LOL it is not much better than dial up. I live behind seminole high school and I don't know why there is no FIOS in my neighborhood can't get an answer from Verizon all they say is they don't know when or if they are havening it here. Has anybody got any answers from them? Please let me know.
Is the DSL always running as slow as dial-up or does it tend to improve during the early morning/late night hours?
As far as FiOS goes, it's also tough to say whether or not you'll be able to get it or not. Looking at the FiOS availability map, if I'm correct in your whereabouts FiOS isn't any more than a few miles from you. If Verizon stopped building out the service, the only thing you can really do is hope that they will continue to build it out. Otherwise, I'm afraid you might be out of luck. See who you can find near you that has FiOS and we'll work from there. It's possible this might be a problem engineering has to fix with the ordering database.
