So everyone with dsl is having problems

for the past month my dsl has been crapping out on me more than usual. My speed has never been as advertised and sadly it is the only internet available in my area, besides sateliite (which im about to switch to) I have been a customer for over 12 years now

Now Im tired of calling the "techs" and having them remote desktop and take me to speed test and click start. its **bleep** and you know it verizon. also you might want to tell your techs clearing my browsing history isnt going to fix the insane amount of lag you guys are pumping out.

heres a snippet from a netalyzer

"

Network buffer measurements (?😞 Uplink 4000 ms, Downlink 1200 ms
We estimate your uplink as having 4000 ms of buffering. This is quite high, and you may experience substantial disruption to your network performance when performing interactive tasks such as web-surfing while simultaneously conducting large uploads. With such a buffer, real-time applications such as games or audio chat can work quite poorly when conducting large uploads at the same time.

I have run this test every day for the past month now and the numbers do not change

Now my nieghbor who lives about 1 mile away from me has had fios for the past 5+ years why dont you guys stretch the line out for the other 100 houses on my street? oh thats right you are milking us dsl clients dry while you can $80 dollars a month for this crap service is a robbery when people play 50 bucks a month for 50/50

Try visiting http://192.168.1.1/ for us and do the following:

a) If you see a Blue and White Westell page, mouse over Troubleshooting, go to DSL, and choose Transceiver Statistics. Copy and paste the information on that page.

b) If using the Red and Black Firmware: Go to System Monitoring > Advanced Monitors > Transceiver Statistics. Copy and paste the information on that page.

c) Try visiting http://192.168.1.1/transtat.htm which is a direct link to the Stats on older modems.

d) If you need a Username and Password, try the following:

admin/password

admin/password1

admin/admin

admin/admin1

admin/Serial Number.

By Serial Number, I don't mean type in the words Serial Number. I mean find and type in the serial number found on the bottom of this router.

If trying to go to 192.168.1.1 does not take you the Westell unit, please post.

If trying to log-in does not work, please post.
