The spyware is smarter than Verizon Security Suite. The spyware is called "System Tool 2011". System Tool 2011 got past the Verizon Security Suite, shut down the Security, and took over our computer last night. Of course I can't get through to Verizon. Is Verizon fixing this problem?

Going forward, you might want to also indepently run Malwarebytes and AVG or similiar. Good luck!
A Google search shows lots of sites with help for removing this bit of malware. I can't tell you which sites are good. Do the search on a different machine.
Hopefully, Verizon will start detecting it soon. Also hopefully, they will respond here, or at least a fellow user who knows will respond.
This "forum" idea works out great, doesn't it? When you can't get any help from Verizon services, all their customers come on this site and cry on each other's shoulders. I still don't know what Verizon is going to do about my problem, I mean, besides, just ignore me. I guess because I pay for Verizon Security Suite every month, and they take my money, that's all I can expect form them?
Malwarebytes worked like a charm . thank you. because you and another one who posted recommended the same site, I thought I'd give it a try, and wow it was fixed in like less than 5 minutes.
