Static Names and IPs assignments wont stick

I have a new G3100 router.  I have a network map of all of my systems.  When I go to establish STATIC connection ip's and names to Mac addresses in the 'Connection List' and click save, no matter what I do, it will not accept the static ip/name reservation.  This is ridiculous!!!  What do i do? 

NOTE:  I have cleared my ip DHCP reservations list from .1-.50  and moved it to .200-.250 just to flush any issues.  I rebooted the router.  Let the ip reservations catch up.  Reset the dhcp back to .1-50 and tried to setup reservations again and it fails.  So many years in I.T. to have to deal with a dumb interface.
