Switching to a Mesh Network Router

Hi all,

we we have Fios Quantum with TV and Phone and use the G1100. We’re looming to get the Eero whole home WiFi system. Is it as simple to set this up as just disabling the WiFi for the current router from Verizon, and plugging in the router provided by eero using Ethernet?

in this setup article it recommends you keep the existing router, but in that case I would say yes disable the WiFi on the Quantum router.
