This is a HP issue.

If you mean how can you fax with fios phone you need to put the cord from your phone into the phone in on the device, then hook the other end to a phone.

When you select fax it should come up with your dialing properties and then just follow the prompts. Make sure when you are using voip to set the modem at the 9600 transmission rate. It will insure a trouble free fax.
