I just hooked up my router today. I am having problems connecting my cell phone to my wifi at home. I was able to connect my laptop but only because I pushed the button on the side of my router. And I can connect my cell to another wifi but when I put the password in that is on the bottom of my router, it says its invalid.

The password is used to login to your router. To connect a wireless device you need to use the wireless key.
Be aware, if you're entering in a WPA/WPA2 password from the bottom of the router, they are case sensitive. Double check your case. WEP shouldn't matter but it doesn't hurt to try Capital letters over lowercase.
