Unable to obtain wifi address

I have the new g3100 router. It's worked fine for 2 weeks and now suddenly things have stopped working. At about 1:30am I received notifications that my home IP cameras were unable to connect to the internet. When I woke up in the morning and attempted to connect to my wifi network I received an "unable to obtain IP address" notification.

For any physically connected devices via ethernet I'm getting an IP address. Eg, my laptop connected to the router via hub works just fine. It's only giving me an issue when obtaining an IP for my wireless devices.

I rebooted the router. I checked the DHCP settings. I turned wifi on/off. I changed the name of the wifi networks. In my wifi devices I chose to forget the network. Finally, I did a hard reset of the g3100 router. Even after the hard reset I'm unable to connect to the wifi network with any wifi devices.

It seems like my new g3100 router is defective. At minimum, I should be able to connect to the new wifi network and obtain an IP.

If that router has SON enabled:

#1 Disable that feature.

#2 Then make sure that 2.4 Ghz and the 5Ghz are two different SSIDs.
