During busy times of the day, especially in the evening I am unable to connect to web sites. Yahoo and Google get a time out fault.
I have complained since September. This happens if I use windows or a mac. The remote service person is very difficult to ubderstand and does the bit about reboot the modum etc. An hour later we are still rebooting and she refuses to pass the problem up the food chain.
The symptoms are just like what occurs at a busy office when everyone comes back from lunch or evening hours at a busy hotel.
I have an old modum and connect using dial up service. The web sites come up instantly but of course download speeds are slow.
I was without service when they were "fixing" the service and never got a credit on my bill. Verizon is not able to deliver either a service or customer service.
Isn't this really theft?

#1 Please show the Transceiver Statistics from the DSL modem.
#2 If you do not know where / how to find them, then answer these questions.
a) What is the brand and model of your DSL modem?
b) What is the brand and model of your router?
c) What is your OS and Version? For example, Windows XP SP3.

Here we are again with the same crap!
The modum, router works just fine now, it did not last evening about 9 pm! Why don't you ask some different questions like oversubscribing?
