Hello,
I recently received a notice from Verizon stating that since I am such a good customer, Verizon was going to upgrade my Fios speed at no additional cost to me. I have yet to see that this has happened and in fact it has been more difficult to use the internet. My download speed is 60mbps and my up load speed is 124mbps. This is not an upgrade. This Fios is no better than when I did not have Fios. I have noticed no difference. Getting help from Verizon is slow and frustrating.
How does Verizon plan on upholding their end of the upgrade promised?
Thank you.
What do you upgrade to and from?
Do you have Verizon router?
Are you running speedtest via a wired connection to speedtest.Verizon.net?
To tack onto the previous post, any upgrade to 100Mbps or better requires Ethernet between the ONT and the router. Coax will bottleneck at 95Mbps in many cases.
