My upload speed is so slow most servers time out and cut me off. Can't send an attachment on Gmail. Can't upload a picture to Facebook, etc.
But this problem only exists with my 5 different Windows 10 Computers on ethernet. My one Windows 7 computer works fine. My W10 computers work fine on Wi-Fi.
Have replaced everything:
- New computer
- New Ethernet wiring
- New Router
- New ONT
Have had technicians to my house multiple times.
Have spent hours on the phone trying different things with Verizon technical support.
Several things have fixed it for about a day.
- rebooting the ONT fixed it.
- replacing the ONT fixed it.
- The Verizon technicians changed many settings in my computers for the Network Adaptor and that fixed it.
But these fixes all lasted 24 hours or less, and then the problem came back to stay.
On the Verizon speed tests I have 100 MBPS upload speed.
On the Google speed test I have 1 MBPS or less upload speed on ethernet with Windows 10. About 40/40 with Wi-Fi. During the brief intervals when the problem has been fixed, I would have 100 MBPS upload speed on ethernet with Windows 10 on Google speed test. As soon as actual uploads stopped working, the Google speed test results would drop down to 1 MBPS or less. But the Verizon speed test results are always great.
