Using Two Extenders

I currently have our Not connected to our G3100 router through ethernet.  We then have an E3200 extender hooked up through coax.  We would like to add a second extender since we have coax already run throughout our house.  Can we just add a splitter off the router and connect it to 2 extenders?

Thanks!

Phil

I would add to do a check of connectors and any splitters. If splitters are old, consider replacing them. Twist on connectors are bad news and are prime candidates for replacement. Crimp connectors are good. Compression connectors are best. 👍

E3200s should be able to be connected to the G3100 by coaxial cable. Connect the 3100 to the ONT by Ethernet cable and use the coaxial infrastructure to connect the extenders.

If I'm overlooking something, others will chime in. 🙂

Of course, you can connect up to 5 extenders.
