Hi,
Just found out about this application and it seemed like it would be pretty cool. So I ran through the isntaller and it seemed to install fine. When I ran the program it sits at the splash screen with the woman on the laptop and says "Checking your system configuration.... Please wait...." It has been doing this for over 15 minutes. I tried stopping and restarting the application but it does the same thing. Is this normal? Any suggestions?

No one experiencing this? I am using Windows 7 Pro 32bit. The thing is still "configuring".
Seems like a bug.... A new version was made available last night at http://www.verizon.com/inhomeagent. Installing the new version fixed this.
Yes, the new version fixed the issue. Just start In-Home Agent again and it will upgrade itself to latest version.
