So I just spent an hour arguing, once again getting a technician and a service ticket to get this DSL connection fixed. Service drops, No internet connection
at the ISP, No DNS, no email server, and they lied to me directly saying it was my router, and refusing to put a tech on it.
Just a clue for you all. I've been involved with networks for over 20 years.
I know how this stuff works. I know when I'm being lied to.
So here is some some hard truth for you all. Come Monday morning,
I will be contacting the FCC and the Virginia State Corporation Commission
and filing a formal complaint against Verizon for what amounts to fraud.
It is well known Verizon is attempting to eliminate copper, and I now have first hand knowledges the problems with DSL service are being introduced on purpose in order to force consumers onto fiber, and eliminate copper.
Enough is enough. It's time to get the regulators out. As stated I live in Virginia. Currently stuck with two US Senators, but, they'll be useful in this situation.
