I had my Apple airport extreme connected through the Verizon router for more than a year. Just last week my wireless connection started going down. They shipped me a new router, but when I try to plug the airport extreme into the LAN port, I lose wireless connectivity on both the Verizon router and the airport. When I unplug the airport, the verizon router's wireless works again.
I would just use the Verizon router, but the wireless service is awful. It constantly drops the connection unless you are right next to the router.
Why does plugging in the airport cause the Verizon router to time out? Again, this was working well for over a year. Thanks.
