Hello Verizon FiOS,
We have a community with 96 homes in Palm Desert, CA (92211) that would like to have FiOS service available to them, there is a community near them, less than 2-Miles which currently has FiOS Internet. To my understanding this should be fairly easy to roll out the fiber lines for this community as there is a location less than 2-miles which has the FiOS Service.
Who should we contact to show the list of the homes in the community that is requesting FiOS Internet. We have already had residence fill in the availability on the Verizon FiOS Site, but we need this prioritize, and an aproxmitely. Date of availability.
We are the HOA of the current community. Please e-mail me for my contact# if needed, or e-mail contact#/e-mail of the person we need to talk to. We have been wanting FiOS Service here for past few years, while our neighboring community has it. Going in to the era of Cloud Computing, Fiber is essential and a must in every modern day end-user, including their homes and of course their business. Having a connection from a Cable Company is no longer feasible for some users of today, and as big data grows, users will need faster pipes, hence the request of Verizon FiOS Internet.
Please advise, ASAP.
Thank You,
Bethany R.

These forums provide peer-to-peer support for FiOS customers. If you want to make a request to Verizon Communications, you must contact them directly.
FWIW, your request will not likely be met with any enthusiasm. Even though you state there is a nearby community with FiOS, there is a lot more involved that merely running a fiber cable two miles. In addition FiOS is not adding coverage at all these days and is concentrating on adding subscribers where the infrastructure is already in place. Add to this Verizon's current emphasis on wireless versus wired methods, and you will soon realize you are in for a long wait (with few prospects for success).
If anyone in your community enjoys watching Netflix in HD during prime time hours, then stay away from Fios as there is a good chance you won't be able to.
