Verizon Media Manager

I checked and couldn't find an answer to this. When I click on the Media Manger icon it doesn't open , it should right?, no matter where I do it....on the start up menu , or on the desktop, or in programs....I am using Windows XP.

I have tried uninstalling so I can download it again but when I do the uninstall I get an error because it's LOCKED by a following process.

Thanks , still in need of help. I just tried to open the media manager and the hour glass pops up then goes away and nothing opens. I believe it's actually working though as I can flick pictures from my ipod to the TV.....
