Verizon Webmail preview pane

Lately, whenever I've opened my Verizon Webmail inbox, the preview pane has been closed.  How do I re-open it?

Assuming you are using the "rich" version of webmail and not the basic version, there is a small icon in the upper right corner of the page, just to the right of the "search" box, if you mouse over that it will give you the option to display the "split pane", which is what you want.

If you are using the basic version, I'm sorry, I have no idea.

I must be using the basic version -- I don't have an icon to the right of the search box.  Perhaps I should switch to the rich version of Verizon Webmail.  How do I do that?

I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but it has been so long since I switched that I don't remember exactly. I think that there was a pulldown or something to click on in the basic view that said basically "switch to rich format".

Hopefully someone will see this thread and give you specific details on how to do it if you cannot find the option to switch.

You just go into "general" settings, on the bottom of the option you will see "Desired Interface:" that is where you select "Rich". If that option is not there then you account has not been migrated, and will be migrated soon.
