The Verizon  Tech. said I need a new modem since the current one is having a problem.   I talked with an account representative who said I had to now buy a new modem and pay a monthly service Charge.  This appears to be a rip off since Verizon sent me this modem when I signed up for DSL.which I have had the service since they started DSL and have a Verizon Bundled Account.  Can I buy a Modem at Best Buy and install on my system.  I feel I am being taken advantage of by Verizon especially when the cable companies are giving free modems and speeds 10 times faster and cheaper than Verizon  I also talked with an account reserlution person who could not find my account, kept me on hold for 13 minutes and then hung up and never called back.  Is this the new Verizon which makes me think it is Pepco.

What exactly is the problem you are having with the 327w? It would help to know this so we can help troubleshoot the line or at least get a better understanding of what is going on...
