Hi

Tech support just helped me set up my GT704WGB modem (?). 

I noticed one of the lights on the front is wireless and it's green.   Sometimes it flickers.   I do not use wireless.

Does this mean someone driving down the street can access my dsl service/computer info?   If they can,  does it affect my speed?   If it's possible can that part be turned off?

The Wireless light from time to time may simply be blinking due to the fact that there is a device on your network, or the router itself is probing the network to see what is attached to the network. If you are curious to know if anything is using the Wireless, you can check the attached devices on the ActionTec by visiting http://192.168.1.1/ and looking at the Network Map on the main page. If you wish to disable the Wireless, just visit the above address, choose the Wireless Settings section and simply disable the Wireless. If you need a login for the router, try the following:

admin/password

admin/password1

admin/admin

admin/admin1
