Just got off the phone with retention and they couldn't offer the same or better deal to me as an existing customer. I see offers for new customers offering added incentives to sign up. So the natural conclusion is they would rather lose me and my wireless services for a year or two than keep me as a customer and take the chance that I'll come back at some point in the future. Very odd because more than likely once lost after a bad experience customers usually do not return. Strange marketing strategy.
Its the same strategy that every service provider uses.
It is always the new customers that get the better deal.
They consider that the cost of acquisition.
