Verizon shut off our account accidently and can't fix it

Verizon made a mistake when we returned a piece of equipement that we were acutally cancelling the account.  They were able to shut it off right away, but after 6 hours on the phone and various departments, they couldn't seem to figure out a way of turning it back on.  So it seems that Verzion is setup to shut your account off, but make it very difficult to turn it back on, even when it's their own fault.  Great business model, keep it up Verizon, you're awesome!
