I was contacted via email by Verizon to please upgrade my Wi-Fi connect software. I have tried this several times without success. After I log in and select the Wi-Fi connect download choice, the Verizon Download Manager window is opened and the display is "Preparing to download your products" The progress bar is going back and forth as if it is waiting for something to happen, but this is as far as it has ever progressed. I tried turning off the firewall and antivirus to no avail. I even let it sit overnight but in the morning the window contents remained unchanged. Is there a direct download link to the software? That is, is there a way to "cut to the chase" without having to jump through the hoops of the VZ Download Manager?
