I recently moved into an apt on a short-term contract. It came with Verizon FIOS and a MI424WR router. How do I find the Security Key for the Router? I have the WEP key and ESSID.

couple ways,
- if you have tv, simply press menu > customer support > my wireless network and hit ok
- if you are near the router, there is a sticker on it physically that should say ESSID and also WEP or WPA2
- if you are registered and accepted terms of service on your account, you can go to www.verizon.com/repair and click 'retreive my wifi security settings'

The WEP Key is your Security Code.

Assuming the previous tenant didn't change the key or encryption type.
