I signed up for the $15/month home DSL service, and received my router in the mail along with my starter kit.
I would like to set up the router to connect my Samsung tablet to the Internet. My tablet doesn't support Ethernet connections, so I would have to connect wirelessly.
I'm told that the only way I can do this is to separately hook the router to a regular Windows PC with an Ethernet connection to set up the network.
Is that true, or can I set it up from my Samsung tablet?
If it is true, can I then disconnect the Windows PC after the wireless network is up and running, or do I need to leave the PC connected all the time?
Thanks!
As long as the router is set up and can deliver Internet to anything, the Wireless to the tablet should work just fine.
