Westel 6100G and Airport Extreme: Has anyone gotten them to work together?

Airport Express works fine; Airport Extreme not at all.

Apple claims there is a settings problem with the Westel modem (it is in bridged mode), but a review of related posts on the Internet suggests that no one has had success with this combination.

Help (or confirmation) would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I gave up and returned it. The man at the Apple store had a similar experience.

YES, I got it working after couple of tries. All you have to do it do a hard reset on the Westell 6100G modem/router and wait for a few seconds till you get a steady green light on DSL. Then hook up the Airport Extreme and do a hard reset as well and select PPOE as a connection and input username and password on the Airport Extreme and I got it to work. No bridge mode, etc.

Again I got mine to work.
