Gentlemen, I lost the user name and password that I entered into my Westell 327W. Is there any way Verizon
support can retrieve (or reset) this for me, or do I have to push the reset button?
AND.....
If I push the reset button, will the router still connect to Verizon or will I have to re-enter other information?
if so, what info will I need to make it reconnect to Verizon?
Thank you very much.
(I read through MANY pages here on the forums but couldn't find any similar question asked by others)

You are either going to have to figure out the password, or press the reset button (and hold it for about 10 seconds).
The default configuration on the 327W will work just fine with Verizon DSL service. What probably won't work initially after you do this is your wireless connection. The SSID, password and type of security will default to those identified on the router, and it is unlikely that your wireless devices are set up for that.
So any specific information you entered, such as the Wireless setup (SSID, type of security etc) will be lost and will have to be-entered, as will any other specific set up you entered such as MAC authentication, port forwarding etc.

Thank you very much Mathew. That's what I needed to know.
