Hi Just upgraded DSL speed but no internet light no internet with Westell 7500 modem router.
I can get online with old Westell 6100 modem. All wires seem connected correctly.
What step have I missed, as in reading other post it's a fast easy setup.

When the 7500 is connected, does the DSL light turn solid? You might need to configure the modem so that it will work with the service.
Using the Westell 6100, visit http://192.168.1.1/ and tell me what mode the DSL modem is running in. It will usually be either PPPoE or Routed Bridge mode.

So that answers the first question. The second question remains unanswered though; does the modem manage to maintain a solid DSL light?
From there, we should be able to configure the Westell 7500 so that it will connect.
