REALLY! please invest in wimberley help us restore the community and get to normal standarts of internet speed!

By chance was the copper infrastrucure destroyed? eg: Are phone and Internet services totally down due to the floods?
The reason I ask this is due to the fact that Verizon is in the process of turning over control of Florida and Texas wireline assets to Frontier Communications. If the infrastructure was destroyed by the flooding Verizon might replace it with Fiber before the conversion is complete. Otherwise, services will probably be restored to their previous levels or be further degraded under Verizon's ownership. It'll be Frontier's problem at that point.
