Wireless Thermostat interferance?
Sola1
Newbie

We currently have two internet providers in our household. We have Verizon, which only I use for myself; and we have Comcast, which the rest of my family uses. My father has a Honeywell wifi thermostat for his mother who lives next door, and a signal booster so it can connect to his internet. It has stopped working and he's blaming it on my Verizon router, saying it is interfering with the signal. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't think it's my wifi interfering, but I don't know much about this. I appreciate any help you all can give! 🙂

Most radio devices will cause interference with each other. It’s just the way they are designed. Change the channel on the router to a channel with less interference. Wifi Analyzer on a cell phone can help you see what channel might be best. The In-Home Agent has an analyzer tool in it now, but I didn’t care much for it.
