I have the actiontec all hooked up but when I connect to the wireless it is getting a very weak or weak signal where I cant get online, this is on a desktop that it right near the actiontec
Hate to state the obvious, but ensure that any antennas for either the desktop or the ActionTec are connected completely. Signal range drops by a ton if they are not attached. If Antennas are connected properly, you can try changing the wireless channel the ActionTec operates on by visiting http://192.168.1.1/ . Channels 1, 6, and 11 are the best. To rule out the PC as being the issue, have you also checked the signal strength on other devices?
